Escaped Teen Murder Suspect's Getaway Driver Arrested Philadelphia Police

The man who was spotted security footage at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia driving the getaway vehicle that helped a teenage murder suspect escape custody has been arrested, Philadelphia police announced on Friday morning.

Michael Diggs, 18, was allegedly seen driving the same cream-colored Ford from the video at CHOP that murder suspect Shane Pryor fled in around 11:54 a.m. on Jan. 24, according to PPD. 

Michael Diggs was later spotted in the vehicle and taken in for questioning, as detailed in a police release. After which, he was charged with hindering apprehension, escape, use of communication facility, and criminal conspiracy.

Shane Pryor has not been located and is considered dangerous. He's described as 5-foot-7 and 180 pounds, and his last known address was in the 8200 block of Henry Avenue in Philadelphia's Upper Roxborough section.

A $5,000 reward is offered for information that leads to his arrest.
